Reader Bill Marden writes inwards to tell that the Pedal Pusher Bike Shop on Second Avenue betwixt 68th & 69th has closed.

He says:

"Store had been inwards electrical flow place for almost l years. Suddenly shut inwards early on March 2018. A nearby dry out cleaner told me that the bike store shut due to a recent rent growth (big surprise). Besides selling bikes, the store was good known for its bike rentals to groups as well as its repair services. They'll live on missed."

The article of apparel store adjacent door is sitting empty, too. More high-rent blight.
